[b]Grief police/Moderator Application[/b]

1. Who are you.
I'm Exoticz, the exotic character you can always find in the Survival world ; )
Dutch and 18 years old.

This is actually the second Minecraft server I played on, but I have alot of experience
moderating servers. I have around 5 year experience in Runescape private servers.
It's practically the same thing, but another game.

2. How long have you been playing Minecraft.
Almost 2 years now.

3. How long have you been playing on our server.
Almost a week now.
May not be that long, but I've met most of the active players.

4. What is your experience with griefers?
I'm only to be found in the Survival world, but I've been in the Creative world several times to help
recovering buildings players made which were griefed with water/blocks were taken out everywhere.
Until Richje700 told me to stop rebuilding stuff because it would conflict any rollbacks.

5. How would you solve the following problems:
5.1. You see a player running around destroying everything with TNT, what do you do?
Kick the player from the server. Warn him with a ban/ipban if he will go on.
Explain to him it's not nice to destroy stuff other people created and giving him a last chance.
If he keeps on destroying stuff, I'd ban/ipban him.

Fix the damage done by him/her.

5.2. You see a player destroying the surface layer (grass) on a flat map for no reason and leaves it like that, what do you do?
Ask him why he's doing that. If I don't get an answer, I'd kick him and ask again. If he doesn't respond by then, ban him.
If he has a valid reason, let him go on.
If he does not have a valid reason, ask him to stop or he will be banned/ipbanned.

Again, fix the damage.

5.3. you see a player flying in the survival map, the player is not suppose to fly, what do you do?
I would ask the player to stop using rule-breaking mods/hacks.
If he does not stop, ban him.
If he does stop, I will write his name down so I can ban him in the future if he breaks another rule.

Extra
You may have realized I'm not that strict, and I won't ban a player right away.
I want to give people a second chance, or at least give them a chance to feel sorry for what they've done.
People don't learn from being punished, they learn from making mistakes.
When they realize they made a mistake by breaking a rule, they have learned not to do it in the future.

Also, normally I don't apply for staff positions anywhere, but I like this server alot and
if I can contribute by helping as a staffmember I'll be glad to help out this way.

Plus, -no offense-, but I'd rather not see a 12/13 year old kid getting chosen to moderate and take
a big responsibility just because he wants to be a moderator.
